Mindful Lifestyle Coaching
There is a lot of conflicting information available regarding the best ways to nourish our bodies. It can be challenging to find the way of eating that best suits you, your body, and your lifestyle. I will not provide you with the ‘quick fix’ approach to dieting, but rather will work with you to make lasting changes for a lifetime of health.
I offer an 8-week, lifestyle and mindful nutrition program, developed by Sonya Thomlinson of Mindful Restoration. I had the opportunity to take part in this program while in my yoga teacher training, and it was part of my 280-hr certification. Unlike a diet, the program asks that you add things to your meals and lifestyle rather than denying you particular foods. It incorporates activities of daily mindfulness that asks you to slow down and listen to the messages your body is eager to tell you about what works, and doesn’t work for you.
Throughout the program I will coach you to ensure that you get the most out of the 8-weeks, so that you make lasting changes for a lifetime. The program is compatible with any diet restrictions or preferences that you have, since it is about listening to what your body needs rather than conforming to a list of required foods.
