Yoga is how I connect with my inner strength, on and off the mat.
There have been moments in my life where I feel it is in my nature to be an anxious person. I am challenged by self-doubt,
insecurity, and emotional eating. Yoga has created a safe space
for me to own these challenges and explore how movement, breath and surrender can lessen their impact on my life. In my practice I began to see that anxiety isn't my nature, it is a habit I have l
learned and can therefore unlearn.
In leading yoga for others, and supporting them with energy work, I hope to hold and create a space where they can access their self-compassion and inner strength. Leading compassionate flow,
we challenge our bodies together to learn from the wisdom that resides within. Mostly, I hope to have people leave feeling better when they came onto their mats with a relaxed body,
full breath and quiet mind.
I have been practicing yoga since 2004 and completed my Kripalu yoga teacher training in 2015. In addition to my yoga training I am also a Reiki Master Practitioner and incorporate energy work into my personal practice as well as the private classes and sessions with clients.
